Video Game Executive and Production Leader

Brief History
Chris has been in game development since 1994 in Ann Arbor, MI, starting in audio for games from Disney, Hasbro, and many more. He first started leading projects as a Producer in 1997, releasing a Rocky & Bullwinkle game for Houghton-Mifflin in 1998, then a Stuart Little game (based on the movie) for Hasbro and Sony Pictures in 1999. Moving to Seattle at the turn of the Millennium, he was a part of the Xbox Live launch as an Associate PM for MechAssault, then went to Surreal Software to lead production on The Suffering, resulting in the subsequent acquisition by Midway.

He continued to lead teams and release games during the following years including publishing casual/mobile titles at WildTangent, then on the development side as Executive Producer at Harebrained Schemes leading Shadowrun: Hong Kong and BATTLETECH, which resulted in an acquisition by Paradox Interactive. In mid-2023, Ben Kvalo approached him to lead production at his new indie publisher. With the message of “Great games can come from anywhere,” he joined Midwest Games as Chief Project Officer to highlight underserved developers and give their games the support they need to have the best chance of success in a challenging marketplace.
